Yes, people, stifle your screams, these are undoctored photos of my kitchen! That’s a mish-mash of “updates” (?!) from the 20s, 30s, 50s, and 70s you see before your terror-filled eyes. Not to mention leaky plumbing, exposed wiring, and falling plaster ceilings. How do you think I feel?! This MUST go. I’ve tolerated it for a decade now, and it is time for a change. Welcome to the 21st century, dear house!
So this is why I blog for money. Besides, making money and being frugal is definitely “in”! I’ve seen a plethora of frugal blogs and smart money-making blogs crop up recently. So I’ve been looking at ways to monetize my blogs. Hey, I have this kitchen to build and a house to electrify yet! Every little bit helps. I’m even hoping that my blogging ventures will completely pay for my new kitchen! How’s that for saving money and being frugal!
Which reminds me– one of my top pay-to-blog communities, Blogs Do Make Money, is recruiting new members. They recently got their own domain and new hosting provider, and the new blog looks like a million bucks! If you are a stay-at-home mom, you have your own blog, and are serious about making money, check out the requirements at BDMM and email them (please be sure to check that you meet the requirements before emailing them, they are busy moms, too). Be sure to say Mrs. Mecomber sent you, you might get a lollipop or something. ![]()

Okay, you win, you definitely need a kitchen makeover way more than I do! Maybe we could both win one!!
In the mean time, I will try my hardest to no longer complain about my kitchen!
